How do I know when my block has been cemented?

I'm currently familiarizing myself with the RPC protocol and am uncertain how the process procedure works. When I, for example, want to send some NANO, I would post a block with subtype send. How do I know if or when my block has been cemented?

Does a normal response to the process call imply that the block is already cemented? Or do I have to poll block_info instead?

After reading some more, I found Integration Guides - Block Confirmation Tracking - Nano Documentation which answers my question. I guess this means that a normal response to the process call does not imply confirmation, but block_info should not be polled either. Instead one should subscribe to a WebSocket to receive a notification once the block is confirmed.
